Endless Design was formed in 2003 by Bill Bachle and Finlay Cowan to undertake design commissions and manage Finlay's licenses and copyrights. All Finlay's commissions pass through the company.
Bill Bachle has over thirty years experience in advertising, marketing and branding with specialist knowledge of the luxury sector. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is the Chairman of the Luxury Marketing Council, Europe.

A short history of Finlay Cowan
After a brief stint as bassist to Johnny Thunders (of the New York Dolls) at the age of 18, Finlay devoted his energies to design while continuing as a musician in his free time.
1993-2004
He worked as a concept artist for Storm Thorgerson (designer for Pink Floyd) Pink Floyd involved in many aspects of design from album sleeves to stage films. Other clients have included Audioslave, Janes Addiction, Muse, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Mars Volta.

1998
His story, The Memory War, based on the history of café culture and esoterica inspired him to build and manage the Moroccan style 'Café 1001' in Brick Lane, London which became a hangout for artists including Talvin Singh and the Master Musicians of Jajouka and was visited by David Bowie and Liv Tyler among others.

1999
A car crash compelled him to form the band 'Crash' which later became Stukahead.

2002
Finlay and Nick Stone were commissioned by the BBC to develop an animated drama series which took stories from Sir Richard Francis Burton's uncensored translation of the Arabian Nights and transported them to the present day London.
2003
He worked as an illustrator in the armoury for Olive Stones production of 'Alexander the Great'. This year also saw the publication of his first book on Fantasy art instruction which went into nine languages.
2004
He set up Endless Design Ltd with Bill Bachle to manage his copyrights, develop merchandising lines and undertake brand design assignments.

2006
Finlay celebrated the release of his second book in six languages (Drawing and Painting Fantasy Worlds). He completed his first graphic novel (Miss London). He worked on the launch of the 'Luxuria 2006' conference at the Royal Opera House and a variety of other design commissions.
2007
2007 will see the release of his third book (The Fantasy Artist's Pocket Reference) in the Autumn and the production of his fourth book due for release in Spring 2008. He will also be completing his second graphic novel 'The Ghost in Me'. He is currently working on two interior design commissions, a bar and restaurant, at the Truman Brewery in London's Brick Lane and is discussing further projects on the site.
In his spare time he writes and continues to perform with Night Porter. He lives in Italy and London with his wife Janette and son, Tyler.
