Switch it off!
Leaving your computer in sleep mode or your VCR and TV on standby mode may seem like it's using very little electricity but if you multiply that by hundreds of millions of people around the world it starts to add up and all that electricity is contributing to global warming and climate change as well as using up the worlds resources... which will soon run out! The same goes for switching lights off when you leave the room. Make switching things off a habit and soon you won't even realise you are doing it. And remember, every time you do that one little thing of switching something off, you are giving a gift to future generations; our children and grandchildren and making sure they have a better world to live in. So, congratulate yourself when you flick that switch... you are a hero!

Finlay says:
"The new book is similar to the first in that it's strong on the practical art aspect - the 'how to' of it all, but the big difference with this one is that it focuses on two very important points: a) how to get your ideas together, and b) how to get those ideas across. It's very realistic in that respect, it doesn't pretend to make you a master artist... only you can do that."
"What I've tried to do is raise all the questions that need to be answered, how to formulate ideas and how to knock them into shape. I really wanted to produce a book where people could get immediate results but also get into some advanced tutorials that give detailed insight into the enormous possibilities of the art form."
